Job Responsibilities of A Welder
- Understand the plan layouts and drawings and record measurements to structure the procedures.
- Able to operate the appropriate welding tools or procedures as required by the tasks.
- Align the structures and materials according to the wielding needs.
- Handle angle grinders to do the post preparation of the parts that requires welding.
- Taking the measurements precisely and using the tools and other equipment.
- Check and test welded parts and structure to correct flaws if needed.
- Plan, alter and mend all metal structures.
- Being proficient in metallurgy, welding operating procedures, and technical qualifications.
- Work with the team of engineers for the safeguarding of large structures and bridges in case of a mishap.
